EMPLOYEE MAINTENANCE - Banks Tab

 

DESCRIPTION:  The Banks Tab houses all the information containing to the banks an employee is eligible for.

1. To access the Employee Maintenance/Banks Tab, click on the Payroll button, , then click on the EMPLOYEE MAINTENANCE button.  

 

2. Next, click on the BANKS tab in the middle of the screen.

NOTE:  Your Banks Types need to be setup first in Payroll/Setup Bank Types before they will show up on this screen.  To access this, click on the PAYROLL button, then click on the SETUP BANK TYPES button.

 

 

PAYROLL BANK PARAMETERS:  This is the way the bank will be deducted, such as hours, days, etc.  Enter the number of Hours that the employee should receive at the appropriate time, such as yearly, every pay period, etc.

NOTE:  The actual name, in this example VAC HOURS, is originally set up in Payroll , Setup Bank Types, on the PR/PRS Parameter/Titles tab.

 

 

7. When done entering all necessary information, click the SAVE button to save, (or click CANCEL to exit out of the entering mode.)

 

8.  You should now see the bank type listed on the side under SELECT CODE:

 

 

9.  If you need to make an adjustment to an employee's bank, you will need to click the MAKE ADJUSTMENT button.

 

 

 

FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS ON MAKING AN ADJUSTMENT, GO TO EMPLOYEE MAINTENANCE-BANK TAB-EMPLOYEE BANK ADJUSTMENTS IN THE HELP MENU.

 

10. Click the DONE button to exit the screen.

 

 

 

TO EDIT A BANK:

 

1. Click the EDIT button on the particular Bank you want to edit.

 

2. Make the necessary changes to the bank.

 

3. Click the SAVE button to save your changes, (or click the CANCEL button if you don't want to save the change(s).

 

4. Click the DONE button to exit the screen.
