EMPLOYEE MAINTENANCE - Employee Tab/Personal Info Tab

 

DESCRIPTION:  This tab is used to set up an employee's personal information.

TO SET UP A NEW EMPLOYEE:

 

1. Click on the NEW button.  

2. Enter all personal information for the employee:

 

A.          Employee Number

B.          Last Number, First Number, M.I. (Middle Initial)

C.          Address Line #1:  Put main address here; for multiple line addresses use Address Line #2 too

D.          Address Line #2:  If needed, enter address information here

E.          City/State/Zip

F.          Country Code:  Only use if necessary

G.          Phone, with extension number, if applicable

H.          Cell Number

I.           Fax Number

J.           Email address:  Click on the PLAIN TEXTS ONLY EMAILS, if employee wishes

K.          Birth Date

L.          Marital Status:  M=Married; S=Single

          NOTE:  This is the marital status that employee's Select on their W-4.

 So a married person filing at the higher single rate would have "S" used in this instance.

M.          SS #:  Social Security Number

N.          Pass Code:  This is the pin number that you set in PFA Works.

O.          Last Set:  This is the date the Pass Code was last set.

 

3. When finished, click the SAVE button.  (Or click CANCEL button to exit this screen and not save information.)

 

4. Click the DONE button to exit the screen.

 

 

 

 

TO EDIT AN EMPLOYEE'S INFORMATION:

 

1. Click the EDIT button on the appropriate employee.

2. Make the appropriate changes to the employee's information.

3. When finished, click the SAVE button.  (Or click CANCEL button to exit this screen and not save information.)   

4. Click the DONE button to exit the screen.
