PM LINE ITEM MAINTENANCE SUB-PROGRAM

You may enter new line items, and change or delete existing line items, if necessary. The drop-down menus after PM System, Mechanic Class, PM Category and Meter Type will access the information you have set up in the Pick-List Constants Maintenance program for these Pick List sets. To set up new pick lists, run Pick List Maintenance.

 

Items in PM Item Maintenance have two screens: General, where the basic information regarding the line item is defined, and Parts Required, where you will select inventory items that will be used for this PM Item.

 

PM Items Parts Required Screen

To enter an item on this screen, first click the NEW button, then select the inventory code from the drop-down list (or type the first few characters of the inventory code). Next, enter the quantity you expect will be used for this item, a cost, and a description of what the part will be used for. Remember to save the record.

 

When you’re done examining PM Items, click the DONE buttons to return to Equipment Maintenance. Click the "History" tab at the top of the screen.
